The Book Of The Law - Heretix
Heretix were a group of talented musicians who recorded the Liber Al - Crowley's Book Of The Law as musical pieces. They are not to be confused with the band of the same name from Boston.
Heretix were part of the Magickal Childe crowd, and I believe Herman supported them, possibly by funding their recording. At any rate he sold their music. He told me they didn't sell too many of them though.
I don't think I knew them, and I assume they were part of the O.T.O. and met in the backroom of the shoppe.
These are recordings from that original cassette from 1981. I claim no right to this recording, and am presenting it solely for historical/documentary purposes. I am trying to get in touch with either the band or the publisher, but without any luck. If This is you, or anone knows any contact information, please let me know so I can receive their permission. There are a few copies of the same music on Youtube. At least one of them though, was recorded 1/2 step higher than the original, so the music and voices sound higher in pitch.
